SERVETTE WOMEN’S FOOTBALL CLUB
THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING MONICA
Arriving in the summer of 2021 from Sporting CP, Mónica Mendes ended her professional career after the championship final.
After three years of good and loyal service, Monica Mendes has decided to put an end to her sporting career. The former Portuguese international will have worn the garnet jersey nearly 80 times and won three national titles including a historic Cup-Championship double this season.
An exemplary captain on and off the field, “Moni”, her nickname, will have had an extraordinary career taking her from Portugal to Switzerland via the United States, Norway and Italy while having defended the colors of the Portuguese selection on 57 occasions! She will have left her mark on the history of Servette FC Chênois Féminin.
The entire club thanks Mónica for her dedication and passion throughout her three years at the club and wishes her all the best for the future!
