SERVETTE FCCF – GC FRAUEN: FIRST SHOCK OF THE SEASON
The Genevans ideally started their season with two victories and a draw. In total, 7 points were acquired after 3 days. In the standings, the Grenat are ranked 3rd, tied on points with YB who have a more prolific attack with 14 goals in 3 matches. Zürich leads the way with 9 points acquired in three matches.
After facing Lucerne, Aarau and Rapperswil, the Servettians host Grasshopper on Saturday. A first rival who intends to play the leading roles as usual. However, the start of the season for Sauterelles fluctuates between good and less good. After 3 matches, Zurich has only one victory and two defeats. A clear 4-0 victory against Lucerne and two defeats with a score of 1-0, the first against Basel, the second in the derby against FC Zürich. GC therefore occupies 6th position in the ranking with 3 units, as many as Rapperswil and two less than FC Basel.
Between Grasshopper who will want to get back on track and Servette who will want to confirm his good start to the season, a real fight awaits at La Fontenette this Saturday. Note that the Servettians will have to count without Ana Jelencic, expelled at the start of the match against Aarau but will find Maeva Clémaron who served her suspension after her expulsion against Aarau.
