SERVETTE FCCF – FC LUCERNE: ASSAULTING A NEW SEASON

The “new look” Servette FCCF begins its season this Saturday at 5 p.m. at the Stade de la Fontenette.

A new era is dawning at Servette FCCF. With a new coach, José Barcala, and a somewhat overhauled squad, the Servettians are setting out to attack a title that has eluded them for two years.

The last championship final, lost against Zurich, has already been erased from memory. With Jelencic, Bottega, Simonsson and Marchao, the SFCCF welcomes four experienced players who will bring fresh blood to a squad which saw a number of players leave during the summer, including Padilla (Bayern Münich), Agata Filipa ( FC Fleury 91) as well as Hurni, Sow and Berti.

However, the framework is present, and there. The SFCCF has recovered, during preparation, four globalists: Felber and Mauron (Switzerland), Nakkach (Morocco) and Pereira (Portugal). With a solid and ambitious squad, the Grenat are starting this season with a lot of desire and determination. Their adventure begins this Saturday at 5 p.m. at the Stade de la Fontenette against Lucerne.
