AS ROMA – SERVETTE FCCF: A FIRST BATTLE

The Servettiennes will play part of their European future tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 p.m. at the Stadio Tre Fontane against AS Roma.

It is time to make history for the Genevans. Three years after their last participation in the UWCL group stage, the Swiss Champions once again have the opportunity to rise among the best teams in the world. However, nothing will be easy, because on the Servettiennes’ road stands AS Roma, the reigning Italian champion.

If the Romans seem to be favorites on paper, the Genevans will have their card to play to try to create a great feat. After an exciting and convincing start to the season on both the national and European scene, the 2024-2025 Servette FCCF version has the weapons to come and annoy Roma.

As for the Italians, the start of the season is looking mixed. After only two league games, Roma only has two points to its name after draws against rivals Lazio and Sassuolo. Only sixth in the standings, the Stadio Tre Fontane residents are already four points behind their rivals Juventus and Inter. There is no doubt that Alessandro Spugna’s protégés will be keen to correct this difficult start by securing their first victory of the season.
