FC AARAU FRAUEN – SERVETTE FCCF 0-4 (0-3)
At Sportanlage Schachen, the Servettians did the job in the first half to win 4-0 before the return match next Saturday.
After a Swiss Cup final in unpredictable weather, the Garnets returned to the sun in Aargau. Against Aarau, the Servettians did not have to force their talent to win by losing the match in the first half. On a serve from Elodie Nakkach, Malena Ortiz Cruz scored the first Servetti goal after a few minutes already. Simonsson, taking advantage of a poor recovery from the opposing goalkeeper, doubled the lead before Clémaron scored before the break.
After tea, the Servettians mainly controlled the pace of the meeting. Jose Barcala’s protégés increased the score at the very end of the match through Therese Simonsson who perfectly deflected a cross from Daïna Bourma with her head.
The Genevans therefore won this first round against Aarau before the return match scheduled at La Fontenette on Saturday May 4 at 7 p.m.
